Camp & Leutwyler|Human|Nature Music, USA
Camp & Leutwyler, the collaboration of the Philadelphia based artists Ben Camp and Mat Leutwyler, has seen incredible successes in 2006 – appearing on several mix CD compilations in Europe and the US, performing at festivals and clubs like Turnmills in Europe and the US, collaborating with internationally known producers and performers, and keeping a full production schedule for several labels including two of their own well-received imprints, Human Nature Music and Hatch Recordings.

As a result of Mat’s extensive background in the development of the Philadelphia nightclub scene, and Ben’s comprehensive training in music composition and audio engineering, the “Camp & Leutwyler sound” includes quite and expansive stylistic palate. Their music is so diverse, in fact, that it became necessary for them to create several artistic monikers to release their different sounds. Current projects include BCML, Acid Mutant, Josh Whatever & Al Centro, the ever-elusive Punktooth moniker, and 2006’s most successful project: Speedcats, which was named “Record of the Year” by BBC Radio One DJ Fergie.

Their various projects and artistic diversity have paid off, as they have received DJ support across the board from artists such as John Digweed, Sasha, Carl Cox, Tiesto, Eddie Halliwell, DJ Fergie, Pete Tong, Paul Van Dyk, and countless others. Some of the world’s top DJ’s regularly come knocking at the door of Silver Planet Recordings – Camp & Leutwyler’s main musical outlet – to request the latest release from this pair of producers.
